Reminder: please bring the second sample student essay I distributed in class today with you on Tuesday. As you know, we did NOT end up having enough time for Group Work #1. Discussion within the small groups on Tuesday will focus on your evaluation of the essay--its strengths and weaknesses.
Those who were absent today will be able to pick copies of both samples on Tuesday. My scanner is not working, so I am unable to scan and post them online. You may want to utilize your class contact sheet; perhaps a fellow student can scan and email them to you. (?)
Another reminder: optional rough draft for essay 1 is due on Tuesday. It must be typed, double spaced and stapled.
If somebody could email me a copy of the example essays that would be greatly appreciated.
